The Five Choice Serial Reaction Time Task (5CSRTT) is a visuospatial attention test that has been widely used to study the behavioral traits associated with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) such as attention and impulse control. It offers effective clinical instruction on Alzheimer’s disease, Depression, Huntington’s disease, Schizophrenia, ADHD and OCD.
The 5/9 hole behavioral test, also called as 5CSRTT is a widely used behavioral instrument for evaluating the cognitive functions, learning and memory abilities of rodents (such as mice or rats). This 5CSRTT records the exploration and selection behaviors of animals in different holes, and can be used for various studies.

Our 5CSRTT device consists of an operant conditioning chamber with five nose poke apertures, each nose poke apertures comes with a stimulus LED light as well as an infrared nose poke sensor. Food pellets or liquid can be offered as reward on the condition that the rodent correctly explores a hole within a preset time. The shocker floor grid allows for punishment in the experiment. The removable feces and urine tray below this grid allow for easy cleaning.
