Video capture

Support multiple camera acquisition experiments at the same time
SANS-AI provides video capture function, which builds a video recording method suitable for their own experimental needs through modular operation.
Core module:
● Start time module: Customize the start time of video recording (to facilitate the software
and maze in different places.).
● Duration module: Set the duration of a single video acquisition.
Number of video recording: Set the current number of recorded videos.
● Interval time: the interval between two videos (to facilitate changing animals or
cleaning the maze).

Observation area setting

Video tracking software is applicable for any mazes, provides a variety of area drawing tools, support independent drawing and definition of the observation area and analysis area, and can also load the conventional maze paradigm to quickly complete the drawing of the observation area and analysis area. At the same time, you can set the same area for all videos with one click.

Detection setting

● Time Event: Used to define the start time of detection (to avoid the interference of human
when placing the animals at the start of video collection).
● Area Setting: Used to determine whether the animal has entered the target area.
Multi Area Setting: Used to determine whether the animal entering different zones.
● Duration: Used to define the duration of detection.
● Satisfy Quantity: Used to define “fully satisfied” or “partially satisfied” when multiple condition modules are set.

Capture

SANS-AI supports “track one in plan” and “track all in plan” in the acquisition.
SANS-AI supports the existence of multiple viewing areas within the same video, such as the 96-plate hole of the zebrafish.

Trajectory setting

Trajectory setting are mainly used to view the detection results and perform micro-processing.
Our video tracking software provides a “smoothing process” for correcting the acquired
trajectory. This can be done in two ways:
1. Smoothing: The trajectory is averaged through the data results between multiple points, and then burr edges are filtered out.
2. Max Move Distance: By setting a max. value, the fragment trajectory exceeding the value is excluded, and then the interference caused by false detection on the result is excluded.

Analysis

SANS-AI video tracking software can group the test results by data selection configuration, and select the technical indicators of interest by analyzing the parameter configuration for the statistics.

Trajectory Visualization

Trajectory visualization can show the trajectory of the test animal in the whole experimental stage. The system can set the line width, line shape, feature point size, transparency of the analysis area, magnification, background, etc.

Heatmap Visualization

The visualization of the heat map reflects the activity distribution of the test animals in the whole test stage. SANS-AI provides the heat map based on location, time, velocity and acceleration, and can smooth the heat map, modify the size of the heat map point and the zoom of the figure.
