8 arm radial maze is commonly used to study spatial memory. It consists of a central area and eight arms connected around it, some of which are fed at the ends or subjected to electric shocks, according to the animal’s feeding or escape strategy (the number of times, activity route, duration), it can also establish a complete variety of conditional and unconditioned stimulus environment through sound, light, electricity and other stimulation-response modules, to achieve learning and memory experiments. The eight arm maze test has been used in a range of Neurobehavioral-based learning and memory studies, toxic effects and the effects of new drugs or therapies.
